our history

“Your beginnings will seem humble, so prosperous will your future be.” (Job 8:7)

Filipino Christian Church (formerly Grace International Christian Fellowship) was founded in January 2002 by Pastor Ben Lee. That summer, the church officially affiliated with the Christian and Missionary Alliance in Colorado Springs under the Pacific Northwest District.
From humble beginnings, Pastor Lee led worship in the living room of his SeaTac home. God continued to bring passionate families with a desire to pursue Him through fellowship, and the congregation grew. Soon, worship services moved to the Skyway Boys and Girls Club.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Pastor Lee took a sabbatical. After much prayer, God provided an answer. In June 2004, Pastor Joseph and Norlin Langub stepped in to shepherd the church. The congregation was relocated to Life Change Church in Beacon Hill, Washington, and given the name it bears today—Filipino Christian Church.

Today, FCC meets in SeaTac, Washington, at McMicken Heights Baptist Church. By God’s grace, the congregation has grown from a handful of families to over 130 members actively serving the Lord. Our worship is led by a talented team with a full set of instruments, and our Men’s and Women’s Ministries create opportunities for fellowship beyond Sunday services. Our Youth and Children’s Ministries continue to help the next generation build lasting relationships with God and with one another.

What began as an ambitious dream in a living room has become a thriving reality—reaching people for Christ both locally and globally. All glory belongs to our Almighty, loving God.
