“Then I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will lead you with knowledge and understanding.”

(Jeremiah 3:15)

Pastor Joseph Langub was born and raised on the farmlands in Basak, Surallah South Cotobato Philippines. He is the youngest of 14 siblings.

After a personal crusade as a youth, Pastor Langub grew by actively serving in the local church. He always gave himself to the service of the Lord, until ultimately submitting himself to God by attending Shekinah Bible College after High School.

During the final year of Seminary in 1997, Pastor Langub was sent to Sunshine City Alliance Church (SCAC), in Manila where he assisted Rev. Noel Erese in leading the church. There he met his wife Norlinda Langub and married in April 9, 1999. Pastor Langub served as the head pastor of Sunshine City Alliance Church after graduating Bible School.

Living in the United States was far from consideration by the Langubs until Mrs. Langub was offered employment for a telecommunications company. In 2004, the Langub family moved to Seattle, Washington and within the same year, Pastor Langub was asked to visit and speak at Grace International Christian Church (currently known as, Filipino Christian Church). He became a volunteer pastor and official the resident pastor with the assistance of Alliance Pacific Northwest District in 2005.

God blessed the Langub family with three children; Abby, Aaron, and Arianna.

Although the Langub family currently resides within the United States, the core Filipino values and culture remain unwavered. Whether it be watching TFC/GMA shows, enjoying a variety of Filipino foods, or sleepless karaoke nights the Langub family stay true to their roots. Pastor Langub and his family spend most of their time together. Their activities range from watching TV to long scenic drives around Washington. Pastor Langub personally enjoys gardening in his backyard, as it reminds him of life in the Philippines.
